About Coppa

Our History

Coppa opened in September 2013 as Juneau’s first handmade ice cream and coffee shop. In 2014, Coppa was named Best New Business and Best Ice Cream Shop by the Juneau Empire Reader’s Choice survey. In 2015, the business won the People’s Choice award under the Path to Prosperity competition, and was named Best Business and Best Ice Cream Shop by the Juneau Empire Reader’s Choice survey. In 2016, BuzzFeed named Coppa the most popular ice cream shop in Alaska.

Our Mission

At Coppa, our mission is to make people happy by offering delicious, handmade products in an environment that evokes the best of Alaskan hospitality.

We are driven by a passion for high quality coffee, tea, ice cream and food.

We love experimenting with new flavors and concepts that draw from our local community.

We want to create an inviting environment that stimulates relationships, individuals and the surrounding neighborhood.

Cafe hours:

Open 6:30 am until 5 pm Monday through Thursday, 6:30 am until 6 pm Friday, and 8 am to 6 pm Saturday

Our cafe is located at 917 Glacier Avenue, next to the Federal Building.
